Via grass roots marketing campaigns, Julie connected with relevant community affinity groups to educate them on Whole Foods Market's deep commitment to natural and green living and highlighted the added value of shopping Whole Foods Market. Using events such as lectures, cooking classes, store tours, spa days, and food festivals she attracted new customers by targeting the needs and tastes of the community. Resulted in a turn-around with an increase of sales by over 6% and increase in basket size by nearly 5%.
